Course Evaluation
The official course evaluation is managed through Blackboard.1 Because we aren’t using Blackboard and because many students report issues when completing the Blackboard survey, I’ve created an alternate form specifically for this course; the alternate form is anonymous, but Microsoft Forms requires authentication and restricts submissions to one per person. Regardless of which you complete, I will merge the feedback with the “official” results after the semester.
Only complete the course evaluation once. Please use the alternate form unless you’ve already completed the Blackboard survey, as I have immediate access to the results rather than waiting for multiple weeks to receive the feedback.
I have and continue to make substantial changes to courses based on feedback from students. Most changes are the result of a good response rate for the course evaluation (i.e., more than 75% of students) and specific comments, both negative and positive, that allow me to pinpoint problem areas or practices to continue. General comments about, for example, “vague requirements” are rarely implementable; even though such comments make me aware of an issue, there’s no guarantee that I will be able to identify the specific assignment and requirement(s) that were especially problematic for students.
Your feedback really matters! Thank you spending a few minutes to complete the course evaluation, as it is one of the few ways that I receive feedback.

End of Course (EOC) Surveys were deployed to cadets on Monday, 16 November, and should remain open through 7 December. Students should access the survey through the email links or by logging into your course in Blackboard. The Take Survey button is at the top right of the course Blackboard page and can only be seen by students.
Students will receive a reminder to complete the survey every 2 days until they submit their survey(s). ↩
